Beautiful Lyrics series: Jo Sumi’s “If I Leave”

I didn’t have any song lined up for this week’s “Beautiful Lyrics series,” and so this week’s featured song comes as a special request from a reader. I’ve already featured this song once before, but as I agree that Jo Sumi’s “If I Leave” is one of the most beautiful (and saddest) song pretty much ever, I think it is worthwhile to introduce the complete lyrics.

Book Club: The Moon That Embraces the Sun (Chapter 1)

Sorry for the delay! I really need to have a better grasp on how detailed I want to make these summaries because they’re becoming quite lengthy. I paraphrased some, summarized some, and directly translated others, but for the first chapter, I directly translated a lot of the dialogues to give you a better sense of the speech style of the characters. Star-studded guests at Yoo Ji Tae and Kim Hyo Jin’s wedding

After five years of dating, actors Yoo Ji Tae and Kim Hyo Jin finally tied the knot on December 2 at Seoul Jangchoong-dong’s Shilla Hotel. I’ve always thought they radiated so much love together, and it warms my heart to hear that their love led all the way to marriage. Of course, marriage takes a lot of work, and I wish them the best for a long and blissful one!
